Online Reporting

Background

Online reporting was developed in response to pharmacy contractors requesting more detailed payment information to support the current monthly payment schedule. The reports are tailored toward service delivery, for example Chronic Medication Service (CMS), Minor Ailment Service (MAS) and Acute Medication Service (AMS) in a format that better meets the needs of our customers.

What is Online Reporting?

The online reports allow contractors to view both electronic and paper based claim data and enables the user to access a suite of pre-defined reports on payments, registrations and electronic claims for all dispensing services.

These reports can provide detailed payment breakdown to an individual item or summary level, such as the top 50 items by volume and value. They can also provide more specific detail such as short supply items, registration counts and changes in registrations for the month.

How do I get access?

The pharmacy user MUST HAVE an N3 connection to access the suite of online reports via the NHS National Services Scotland Business Objects web portal.

A user account needs to be created:-

  • The owner of the pharmacy must authorise for you to gain access by completing and signing an access/authorisation form and returning it to the ePharmacy Helpdesk.
  • On receipt of the authorisation form, a user account will be created and you will receive a username and password by e-mail, which will allow the user to log into the web portal and view the reports (please note - this can take up to 28 days).
