Public Health Service (PHS)

(Contribution of pharmacists to health protection, health improvement and medicine safety)

The PHS encourages a more pro-active involvement of  pharmacists and their staff in supporting self care, providing a health promoting environment across the network of community pharmacies, offering opportunistic opportunities to promote healthy lifestyles and contributing to national and local campaigns.

Whilst this service is one of the key elements of the new contract there are currently no ePHS requirements.
