Consideration is then given as how the identified shortfall might be addressed, including prioritised recommendations. <br>The plan can be accessed here: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.communitypharmacy.scot.nhs.uk\/media\/6451\/pharmaceutical-care-services-plan-v70.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Pharmaceutical Care Services Plan<\/a> &#8211; Expires August 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Primary Care Pharmacy Application Information&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Information on all new applications for inclusion in the pharmaceutical list within the Ayrshire and Arran Health Board area can be found here:&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nhsaaa.net\/services-a-to-z-support-pages\/primary-care-pharmacy-application-information\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">NHS AA Pharmacy Application Information<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Waste Collection: Patient Returned Medicines<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Tradebe<sup>\u00ae<\/sup>&nbsp;is the national contractor for collection of pharmaceutical waste (patient returned medicines). Pharmacy teams are reminded:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Information on what should and what should not be put into the pharmaceutical waste bins can be found here:&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.communitypharmacy.scot.nhs.uk\/media\/6443\/pharmaceutical-waste.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Pharmaceutical Waste<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>All waste must be presented for collection, drivers collecting the waste&nbsp;<strong>will not<\/strong>&nbsp;help gather waste or empty bin holds.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A member of staff will be required to sign the special waste consignment notes, this should be checked before signing to ensure the site details and waste description and quantity are correct.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>If you have additional waste requiring uplift or are experiencing any difficulty with uplifts please contact Margaret Carey on 07885 482 798 or email details to:&nbsp;<a href=\"mailto:ClinicalPCT@aapct.scot.nhs.uk\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ClinicalPCT@aapct.scot.nhs.uk<\/a>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Waste Collection: Injecting Equipment Provision (IEP) Services<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>TradeBe<sup>\u00ae<\/sup>&nbsp;will now schedule \u2018on-demand\u2019 collection of sharps waste alongside regular collections of pharmaceutical waste to reduce site visits.
