There is no requirement to send a copy to CPDT.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2.&nbsp;Eligible&nbsp;Patients<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.communitypharmacy.scot.nhs.uk\/nhs-ggc\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/11\/SGHDCMO-2026-5-Cohorts.pdf\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.communitypharmacy.scot.nhs.uk\/nhs-ggc\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/11\/SGHDCMO-2026-5-Cohorts.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">SGHD\/CMO(2026)5 SEASONAL INFLUENZA (FLU) IMMUNISATION PROGRAMME 2026-27: CONFIRMATION OF ADULT AND CHILD COHORTS<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Community Pharmacy should focus on patients in the following cohorts:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Those loving in long-stay residential Care homes or other long-stay care facilities<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>All&nbsp;those aged 65 and over<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>All those aged 18 to under 65 in defined risk groups. This includes:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Those in clinical &#8216;at risk&#8217; groups set out in Green Book Chapter 19<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Those experiencing homelessness<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Those experiencing substance misuse<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Asylum Seekers living in Home Office Hotel or B&amp;B accommodation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pregnant women<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3.&nbsp;Vaccination Management Tool (VMT)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Vaccinations undertaken via Community Pharmacy will be recorded on the TURAS Vaccination Management Tool (VMT).&nbsp; Anyone involved in the programme will need to be able to access the system (and be a fully GPhC Registered Pharmacist\/Locum\/Technician).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Health Care Professionals who already have access to the TURAS VMT via their current TURAS login details, should be accessing VMT using an <strong>NHS Email Address ONLY<\/strong>*.<br>*PLEASE NOTE &#8211; Any VMT accounts found being accessed by personal email addresses will be disabled and are in breach of data protection legislation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A list of the Contractors&#8217; Vaccinators\/Registrants must be submitted to CPDT prior to Service start date using the TURAS VMT Users Form and returning to <a href=\"mailto:ggc.cpdevteam@nhs.scot\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ggc.cpdevteam@nhs.scot<\/a>.  Please include the following details:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Contractor Code<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Name<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>GPhC Registration Number<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>NHS Email Address (personal emails are not acceptable)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Designation\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Pharmacist<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Locum Pharmacist*<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Registered Technician*<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>VMT Role\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Vaccinator &#8211; can record vaccinations and register patients<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Registrant &#8211; can only register patients<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">*For Locums\/Registered Technician TURAS VMT Users &#8211; authorisation must be provided by the Pharmacy Contractor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Should the pharmacy require additional TURAS VMT User accounts set up, or if the pharmacy has not previously obtained a TURAS VMT User account, please complete this&nbsp;TURAS VMT Users Form&nbsp;and return to&nbsp;<a href=\"mailto:ggc.cpdevteam@nhs.scot\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ggc.cpdevteam@nhs.scot<\/a>.&nbsp; Please type \u201cVMT Access Request\u201d in the subject line.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.communitypharmacy.scot.nhs.uk\/nhs-ggc\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/11\/Turas-Vaccination-Management-User-Guide-v7.2.pdf\" data-type=\"attachment\" data-id=\"2949\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Turas VMT&nbsp;User Guide v7.2<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/vaccination.nhs.scot\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Turas Vaccination Management Sign in Page<\/a> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">4.&nbsp;Training<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All Health Care Professionals providing the Service must ensure they are aware of the National Minimum Standards in relation to vaccination training and are compliant with the training requirements within those Standards that apply to Health Care Professionals providing the Service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Health Care Professionals providing the Service should undertake face-to-face training for injection technique and basic life support (including administration of adrenaline for anaphylaxis in line with National Standards).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">management and this must be delivered by a recognised private immunisation training organisation.&nbsp; Please also visit the NES Seasonal Flu TURAS page on TURAS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Please navigate through&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/learn.nes.nhs.scot\/42708\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">TURAS Vaccination Management Tool<\/a>&nbsp;where you will find links to the User Guides and FAQs pages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">5.&nbsp;Stock Ordering<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>NHSGGC has set a cap on the number of vaccinations that can be ordered from Movianto as detailed below. Stock will be available to order via Movianto\u2019s Marketplace portal.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Each pharmacy has been allocated:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>aTIV<\/strong><br>A maximum of 3 x packs of aTIV for the entire duration of the programme<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>TIVc<\/strong><br>A maximum of 5 packs of TIVc for the entire duration of the programme<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the unlikely event that a participating pharmacy requires to order more than this allocation, a request should be made to&nbsp;<a href=\"mailto:ggc.cpdevteam@nhs.scot\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ggc.cpdevteam@nhs.scot<\/a>.<br>Email Subject Heading should read: FLU QUOTA INCREASE REQUEST and the following information is provided:<br>(a) Contractor Code (b) Amount and type of stock required (c) Reason for Request<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Each request will be considered individually and the Pharmacy Contractor advised of the outcome.  Where the increase in allocation is approved, CPDT will advise NSS accordingly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.communitypharmacy.scot.nhs.uk\/nhs-ggc\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/11\/Movianto-Ordering-Guidelines-Jul-26.pptx\" data-type=\"attachment\" data-id=\"2948\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Movianto Ordering Guidelines 2026<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">6.&nbsp;PILs Ordering&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Patient Information Leaflets (PILs) for aTIV and TIVc will be supplied in pads of 10 leaflets and will automatically be added to your vaccine order.  One pad is supplied per pack of vaccine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>7. Cold Chain Audit<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Completion of the Cold Chain Audit is a mandatory component of participation in the Service.  The Pharmacy Contractor will ensure that the Key Pharmacist completes PSD Scotland&#8217;s Cold Chain Module &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/learn.nes.nhs.scot\/2216\/promoting-effective-immunisation-practice-peip\/peip-for-registered-healthcare-practitioners\/promoting-effective-immunisation-practice-peip-registered-healthcare-practitioners-learning-programme\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/learn.nes.nhs.scot\/2216\/promoting-effective-immunisation-practice-peip\/peip-for-registered-healthcare-practitioners\/promoting-effective-immunisation-practice-peip-registered-healthcare-practitioners-learning-programme\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Promoting Effective Immunisation Practice (PEIP) for RHCP: storage and handling of vaccines Unit 8<\/a>, preferably before the flu season starts but before the end of the season (31st March 2027).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">8.
