{"id":67,"date":"2024-05-16T18:51:11","date_gmt":"2024-05-16T17:51:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.communitypharmacy.scot.nhs.uk\/nhs-ggc\/nhs-borders\/pharmacy-closures\/"},"modified":"2026-02-18T14:03:06","modified_gmt":"2026-02-18T14:03:06","slug":"pharmacy-closures","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.communitypharmacy.scot.nhs.uk\/nhs-ggc\/pages\/pharmacy-closures\/","title":{"rendered":"Pharmacy Closures"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>You&nbsp;<strong><u>MUST<\/u><\/strong>&nbsp;notify the Community Pharmacy Development Team of any instance where your pharmacy has to close, or is unable to open,&nbsp;<strong>as soon as it becomes apparent that pharmaceutical services&nbsp;will not be available for 15 minutes or more<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can do this by submitting the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.communitypharmacy.scot.nhs.uk\/media\/5806\/closure-itemplate-v2.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Closure Template v2<\/a>&nbsp;by email to&nbsp;<a href=\"mailto:ggc.cpdevteam@nhs.scot\">ggc.cpdevteam@nhs.scot<\/a>&nbsp;or by phoning one of the numbers below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Lianne Hatch: 0141-201-6094<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Bridie McCallum:&nbsp;0141-201-6054<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Please note: the CPDT office and mailbox are only manned during office hours (Mon-Thurs: 9.00am \u2013 5.00pm; You can download a template&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.communitypharmacy.scot.nhs.uk\/media\/4713\/pharmacy-closure-poster.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>here<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We also recommend you display in your dispensary a handy&nbsp;list of telephone numbers&nbsp;the team should call in the event of an unexpected closure &#8211;
