The earlier a cancer is diagnosed and treated, the better the survival outcomes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Scottish Referral Guidelines for Suspected Cancer:&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.cancerreferral.scot.nhs.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">www.cancerreferral.scot.nhs.uk<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These guidelines are intended to help identify patients who are most likely to have cancer and who therefore require urgent assessment by a specialist.&nbsp;&nbsp;They include Quick Reference Guidelines and red flag symptoms listed according to types of cancer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To access:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Follow the above web link to access the quick reference guidelines, full guidelines and other useful resources or;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Download the guidelines free onto your smartphone<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Cancer e-Learning Modules<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The British Oncology Pharmacy Association (BOPA) host an excellent e-learning platform to equip pharmacy teams in the early detection of cancer and to best support patients with cancer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Let\u2019s Communicate Cancer<\/strong>&nbsp;is a free, easily accessible e-learning where you can learn about cancer from basics to detailed.&nbsp; It is presented as bite-sized videos, animation, quizzes and slide shows.&nbsp; The e-learning will give you confidence and knowledge to help your cancer patients from early diagnosis through to treatment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Let\u2019s Communicate Cancer&#8221;
