Community Pharmacies across Fife through hard work and determination have continued to provide exceptional pharmaceutical care to the people of Fife during the COVID-19 pandemic. It has been a very challenging time for pharmacy and the teams are a credit to the NHS in continuing to provide care and be at the frontline of services in the community.
NHS Fife continue to offer support to allow Community Pharmacies to continue delivering the essential services they are relied upon to provide. A single point of access for Community Pharmacies to request help is available should they experience significant operational difficulties due to COVID19, such as a threat to the pharmacy staying open and their ability to provide core services. Please find below the process that has been developed which will ensure that any NHS Fife or volunteer staff resource available to help can be used to the best effect.
