The aim of this service is to provide testing for Chlamydia and Gonorrhoea, with treatment of Chlamydia infection where appropriate, and signposting to specialist sexual health service for Gonorrhoea treatment.

To reduce waste, 3 kits will be sent to your pharmacy as standard. Please note:
- The swabs/sample fluid in the kits have an expiry date – please ensure you check the date on these before providing to patients. When these expire, please dispose of them appropriately. To reduce waste, do not throw away all contents of the kit in this instance, and instead email aa-uhb.shbbv@aapct.scot.nhs.uk to request a new supply of swabs to add to your existing kit.
Contractor payment for this service is via NHS AA Monthly Claim Form.
