Free Condom Service

The Free Condoms Service (FCS) is a public health intervention contributing to the key outcomes of reducing the transmission of HIV and STIs, and reducing unintended pregnancy.

It is a universal service available to individuals aged over 13 years.  The service is free to the public and has no cost for the condom distribution outlets.

Pharmacies play a key role in increasing the availability of free condoms, removing barriers to access and normalising condom use.  The service also compliments other Sexual Health and Harm Reduction services, such as EHC and IEP.

Further information regarding the service, products and how to use condoms can be found on the Sandyford NHSGGC Free Condoms Service website.
