Pharmacy Closures
You MUST notify the Community Pharmacy Development Team of any instance where your pharmacy has to close, or is unable to open, as soon as it becomes apparent that pharmaceutical services will not be available for 15 minutes or more.
All closures are reported to a broad range of partners in real time including (but not limited to) NHS 24, NHS OOH, ADRS, GPs therefore it is imperative quick action is taken.

We would strongly encourage you to display a closure notice in your pharmacy’s window or door to alert patients to the closure and making them aware of alternative pharmacies. You can download a template here.
